David Chamberlain

Meet David Chamberlain, Carbon and Founder:

David has over 35 years’ experience in the gas and electricity industries operating and developing complex critical infrastructure and power generation projects. His development activities include negotiating and implementing new regulatory and commercial arrangements for a number of high value cross border electricity interconnectors, LNG infrastructure projects as well as novel renewable power generation opportunities funded from both balance sheet and project finance solutions. This gives David a deep understanding of the rigours of each financing approach.

His experience and knowledge also includes negotiating a number of short and longer term power purchase agreements including some across private wires from both a generator and a customer perspective.

His current focus is on delivering new power generation and storage opportunities and additional electricity interconnection between the UK and its neighbours. David has a BEng Hons in Gas Engineering and also an MBA (Finance).
